FEI's latest Tomography 4.0™ software provides a fast, easy and complete solution for electron tomography using FEI's Titan™ or Tecnai™ transmission electron microscopes and FEI's latest detector modules. It provides easy access to 3D information by adding automation to key elements of the tomography workflow. Also, adding on the fly reconstruction during the actual tomography experiment allows for on the fly visualization of the reconstructed volume.

With the unique Tomography 4.0 version, the output of tomographic reconstructions can be significantly improved to the conventional reconstruction throughput.

2017 Nobel Prize in Chemistry

Congratulations to the winners of the 2017 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Three scientists; Dr. Jacques Dubochet, Dr. Joachim Frank, and Dr. Richard Henderson, were awarded the prize for their developments within Cryo-Electron Microscopy.
