Career in Customer Service for Electron Microscopy

FEI offers some of the most exciting and rewarding customer service opportunities available anywhere. We have service offices and support teams in every corner of the globe, and our customers include some of the most successful research organizations and high-tech corporations around. You’ll have opportunities to help these customers push the limits of what can be seen, understood and accomplished. You can also push the limits of your career, building on your technology and customer application area expertise to take on a management or sales role, or even follow in the footsteps of our VP of Sales whose own FEI career began in Customer Service.  

Teamwork and a sense of urgency are key to your success. As a member of the FEI service group, you'll be part of a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team that relies on efficient collaboration to quickly solve complex challenges. You’ll be tasked with resolving hardware, software and applications issues on a multitude of systems. As your career advances, you’ll gain increasing expertise, not only in electrical and mechanical engineering, but also in the principles of physics that are embodied in our systems. You’ll become proficient in understanding and resolving issues related to electron and ion beam acceleration, vacuum technologies, pneumatics, encoder technology and much more. You’ll also have opportunities to work in many different countries and cultures and in many different scientific and technological disciplines.
